Screening

This graph shows the undoubted advantage of surveillance endoscopy in Barrett's patients with respect to survival after a cancer is found and resected compared to the un-surveilled population. The next question however is whether a strategy for screening 'at risk' refluxers for Barrett's in the first place would be effective at both a clinical and economic level.
