Reflux disease

This is one of the largest health threats to the developed world in our time. It is increasing in frequency and as it becomes more common, so there is a rise in Barrett's oesophagus and thence adenocarcinoma of the oesophagus - the world's fastest rising cancer in terms of incidence.
